An App for Aviation Products Density conversion to 20 C from observed temperature as per ASTM 53B.

An App is developed for Aviation products like Aviation Gasoline, Jet A-1 etc Density conversion to 20 C from observed temperature as per ASTM 53B.

Density Conversion to 20 Deg C for Aviation Products as per ASTM 53B.
Large volume of Aviation products  after refining moves from production to airports globally.  Oil Industry uses ASTM tables published by API/IP/ASTM  to account Oil quantity on board of the tankers for calculating quantity. For insuring quality of these sensitive products density is the only convenient and easy factor to measure in the field outside the laboratories.

The density is measured at the ambient temperature and then converted to standard temperature say 15 or 20 deg C. Following publication is in metric system where mass is in Kg, volume is in Kg/Cu.M and temperature is in Centigrade and followed most of Europe, Asia, Africa & Commonwealth countries with standard temperature as 15 deg C.

Certain countries use 20 deg  C as standard temperature. These are Russia, Russian influenced most of Eastern block CIS countries, Brazil, certain African countries like Ethiopia  etc. This app is developed considering the need of  personal from such places and converts density from natural to 20 deg C.

It may be noted that this App and the above tables ASTM 53 B and 54 B are for petroleum products and not for Crude Oil for which there are different ASTM tables for Corrections. See different Apps suiting this.

US, Canada, Persian Gulf, etc where FPS system  with API density, US Barrels, and Deg F is more prevalent and  and there are different ASTM tables are used. Standard temperature being 60 deg F. See different Apps suiting  this.

Density Conversion to 20 Deg C for Aviation Gasoline as per ASTM 53B

With this App, you have power in your palm.

Density Conversion from observed temperature to 20 deg C using the APP has following fixtures/benefits:

a)   Accurate as per the ASTM Density Conversion table 53B.
b)   Can be used in Mobile Phone or Laptop/Desktop.
The app is compatible with the iOS and android systems.
c) After initial downloading, the app functions without internet for calculation.
d)  Avoids manual human error in reading ASTM Book table/Conversion formula disk.
e)   Far Simpler than using the charts & formula wheel to work out conversions.
f)   Very very convenient to use in the field say at Marin Jetty, on the board of Vessels, receiving/dispatching tank trucks, marine tanker loading/unloading, pipeline samples density conversions, etc where ASTM Conversion charts are cumbersome to be carried/use and likely human error may occur, leading to costly consequences.

Most important, the app does not require any permissions or identity like Credit Card or bank account for login. Also it is advertise free.

The App has following additional fixtures:

The App is in English Language, can be made in any other languages. Units of measurement can be programmed as decided by user.
