Exposer to Petroleum Product Quality Control thru Petroleum products Laboratories managing, Petroleum Storage Locations, Controlling Office working.  Overseen 51 Petroleum labs - construction, equipment purchase, commissioning, recruiting lab personnel, training, accreditation ISO 9001 and NABL ISO 17025.  Product Quality failure investigations from Refineries to petroleum consumers. 

Petroleum Technical committee member of BIS-India, ASTM D02 USA,  ISO TC-28 on petroleum products,  Lab safety OISD 211 etc.

Ex QCM of IOCL designated by DGCA and DGAQA, Govt of India, responsible for implementing quality policies including approving technical competence of manpower for Aviation fuel products handling from refinery to aircraft.  Ex Governing council  member on SFTL, independent Petroleum testing Lab, NOIDA established as per Supreme Court of India directive.

Having credit of >800 QC Visit to >250 Labs, Bulk depots/installations, Aviation Fuel Stations in India, UK, USA, Mauritius and Nepal for QC Audit and technical matters.

Density conversion to any temperature say 20 C, 15 C or any desired temperature from any observed temp Some of the countries like Russian block follow standard temperature 20 deg C as compared to Commonwealth countries which have standard temperature 15 deg C.  The calculator developed for conversion of Density from observed temperature to 20C or 15C or any desired temperature is thus very handy.   It may be noted that the calculator is for finished petroleum products and uses ASTM tables 1952 version for this conversion. Crude Oil Density Conversion to 15 deg C and Volume Calculation App as per Petroleum tables ASTM 53A and 54A

Crude Oil Density conversion to 15 C from observed temperature as per ASTM 53A  and volume Correction as per Petroleum tables ASTM 54A using an App developed. The App developed converts a) Density at 15 Deg C from observed density and temperature and b) calculates the bulk volume from natural to volume at 15 deg C, US barrels at 60 deg F and weight in MT. Large volume of crude moves from production to user refineries globally. Oil Industry uses ASTM tables published by API/IP/ASTM  to account Oil quantity on board of the tankers for calculating quantity.  Following publication is in IS system where mass is in Kg, volume is in Kg/Cu.M and temperature is in Centigrade and followed most of Europe, Asia, Africa & Commonwealth countries with standard temperature as 15 deg C. It may be noted that the above tables ASTM 53 A and 54 A are for Crude oil and not for refined petroleum products for which there are different ASTM tables for Corrections. See different Apps suiting
