- Patel's Density Conversion App for Petroleum products from observed temperature to 15 C, 20 C or any desired Temperature

A practical situation like designing of pipeline, pumps etc in oil industry require the density of petroleum products at the likely temperature  at which the products will flow. Thus the exercise is when the density is taken at observed temperature say 19 deg C and the what will be the converted density at say 27 deg C?

 The answer is provided in a single step, in the app developed here.

 Earlier,  various Density conversion Apps and procedures are blogged for petroleum products and crude Oil.  Here now, an app is presented for density conversion from observed temperature to any desired temperature say 15 C or 20 C or 27 C or  any temperature T.

The conversion uses relationships from ASTM 53b tables for petroleum products.

Density conversion to any temperature say 20 C, 15 C or any desired temperature from any observed temp Some of the countries like Russian block follow standard temperature 20 deg C as compared to Commonwealth countries which have standard temperature 15 deg C.  The calculator developed for conversion of Density from observed temperature to 20C or 15C or any desired temperature is thus very handy.   It may be noted that the calculator is for finished petroleum products and uses ASTM tables 1952 version for this conversion. Crude Oil Density Conversion to 15 deg C and Volume Calculation App as per Petroleum tables ASTM 53A and 54A

Crude Oil Density conversion to 15 C from observed temperature as per ASTM 53A  and volume Correction as per Petroleum tables ASTM 54A using an App developed. The App developed converts a) Density at 15 Deg C from observed density and temperature and b) calculates the bulk volume from natural to volume at 15 deg C, US barrels at 60 deg F and weight in MT. Large volume of crude moves from production to user refineries globally. Oil Industry uses ASTM tables published by API/IP/ASTM  to account Oil quantity on board of the tankers for calculating quantity.  Following publication is in IS system where mass is in Kg, volume is in Kg/Cu.M and temperature is in Centigrade and followed most of Europe, Asia, Africa & Commonwealth countries with standard temperature as 15 deg C. It may be noted that the above tables ASTM 53 A and 54 A are for Crude oil and not for refined petroleum products for which there are different ASTM tables for Corrections. See different Apps suiting
